Energy regulation specialist with 22+ years’ experience as a lawyer in Public Law in the Energy Sector, including the scientific analysis and monitoring of national and international regulations in the electrical and hydrocarbon sectors.

Ramon is an energy regulation specialist with over 22 years experience as a lawyer in the area of Public Law in the Energy Sector, and specifically in the last ten years in the scientific analysis and monitoring of national and international regulations in the electrical and hydrocarbon sectors, with participation in the design and/or interpretation of both Community and Spanish energy regulatory framework through the respective sector discussion and work forums, particularly in the field of renewable energies.

During the last 6 years he has focused on Wind Energy regulatory frameworks, with direct participation in the drawing up of the Spanish support mechanism and renewable rules since 2002. Currently, Ramon serves as the General Secretary of the Spanish Wind Association.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Ramon has spent more than 15 years acting as Barrister at Court for a Spanish-based worldwide energy supply company, and organizing and leading its legal services. He has extensive experience in:

• Project finance contracting in the renewable energy sector
