Alex is the founder, principal consultant and owner of Bisbee & Associates. Alex founded B&A in 1996 to provide high-end operational solutions to clients in multiple industries. At B&A, he has developed solutions exceeding $20 Million in revenue, savings, or improvement for clients throughout the United States.

 

Alex provides executive-level strategic interaction for clients, setting the vision for each engagement, including the crucial interaction with the CFO, the CEO, relevant Vice Presidents, and other executives driving the project. Alex is the key player in establishing the overall management principles and goals that guide the project’s success, whether that is a quality goal, a financial return objective, a quantified process improvement change, or some other executive directive.

 

Alex applies unique communication skills and organizational understanding to “translate” the objective or directives of the executives to the mid-level managers that typically must deploy more pragmatic solutions. In other words, Alex has the ability to ensure that a high-level goal can be transformed into an operational solution that actually achieves the end goal.

 

HIGHLIGHTED ENGAGEMENT HISTORY

  • Energy Services Company, Minneapolis, MN: Responsible for expansion and operations management development for an emerging energy services company that serves multi-site industries, including restaurants, retail, and convenience stores. 
  • Energy Technology Company, Germantown, MD: Responsible for management of a number of key accounts for business development purposes.   Sales to these accounts have more than doubled the firm’s volumes and revenues to over $3 Million per year (2007). 
  • Nevada Power Company, Las Vegas, NV: Developed and implemented a comprehensive high efficiency residential air conditioning rebate program over a four-year implementation period.  Led a team that was responsible for all marketing, rebate processing, and administrative tasks on behalf of the utility.  At the program’s peak, participation reached over 12,000 consumers through both direct and new home construction channels.

 

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Alex is able to deliver for the highest levels of organizations due to an impressive track record of working with executives facilitating complex solutions in large organizations. His career started in presentation development for CEOs of Minneapolis-area corporations. He then served in numerous sales and management positions with Honeywell Inc, all in charge with developing and executing on multi-million contracts that required board-level agreement and engagement.

 

Alex understands the motivations of managing boards, shareholders, and CEOs that ultimately guide all meaningful engagements. He has been hired by executives from diverse organizations such as Boeing, Siemens, the Foundation for Independent Higher Education, the Lutheran Services in America, and public school districts to assist in significant change initiatives or in organizational development and analysis.

 

Experience includes:

  • Vice President of Business Development Operations, CommercExec Inc.:   Primary responsibility for all customer acquisition for customers for a B2B e-commerce corporation he co-founded and launched. 
  • Chief Operating Officer, LBA LLC:  Provided owner representation services to educational, healthcare, nonprofit, and municipal services in the procurement and implementation of energy services contracts.  Primary role all operations and management of contractors, customer relationships, program design and development.  Contract management exceeded $55 Million in energy services.
  • Performance Contracting Manager, Honeywell Inc:  Managed and team of engineers, sales reps, and implementation operations for performance-based contracts for Minneapolis and Chicago marketplace.  Responsible for over $50 Million of contracts.
